Sophie Jones is a doctoral researcher in the Department of English and Humanities at Birkbeck, University of London. Her project, funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council, examines the way notions of aesthetic expression and control intersect with discourses of reproductive choice and privacy in post-1945 U.S. culture. She is a 2011-2012 British Research Council Fellow of the Kluge Center at the Library of Congress in Washington D.C.
