About Naomi
Naomi Foyle writes in multiple genres. Her debut novel, futuristic thriller Seoul Survivors, will be published by Quercus imprint Jo Fletcher Books in February 2013, to be followed by Astra in early 2014. Naomi is also the author of The Night Pavilion, an Autumn 2008 Poetry Book Society Recommendation; the illustrated ballad pamphlet Grace of the Gamblers, and The World Cup, all from Waterloo Press. As a poet she has collaborated with artists and musicians on projects including the award-winning videopoem Good Definition. Her verse-drama 'The Strange Wife', commissioned and produced by the Bush Theatre, was published in 66 Books: Twenty First Century Writers Respond to the King James Bible (Oberon Press, 2011). Naomi holds a PhD in Creative Writing from Bangor University; her academic article 'The Ballad as Site of Rebellion' appears in Listening Up, Writing Down, and Looking Beyond: Interfaces of the Oral, Written, and Visual (Wilfred Laurier Press, 2012).
