About Nathalie
Nathalie Morello is a Senior Lecturer in French at Swansea University. Her research interests are in the field of gender studies and contemporary French literature, with a particular focus on mother-child relationships. She has published books on Françoise Sagan, has co-edited with Catherine Rodgers a volume of essays on contemporary French women writers entitled Nouvelle écrivaines, nouvelles voix ?, and has published articles on Mum lit, Agnès Desarthe, Annie Ernaux, Catherine Millet, Lorette Nobécourt, Véronique Olmi, Mazarine Pingeot and Angélique Villeneuve. She is currently writing a monograph on representations of violent women in contemporary French women's writing.
